Step 2: NickServ will then reply with a notice asking you to answer a simple question.
Step 3: After figuring out the simple security answer from Nickserv – /msg firstname.lastname@example.org register <SamePasswdHere> <SameEmailHere> <SimpleAnswerHere>
Step 4: Please be patient and wait for the authorization email from “DALnet Registration” – Please note email may some time end up in Junk/Spam folder, also may take up to 24 hours to be received.
Step 5: Follow the instructions in the e-mail received from “DALnet Registration” by clicking the authorization link to finalize and complete your nickname registration.
Step 1: Ensure channel is not registered already by someone else /msg email@example.com info <#channelname>
Step 2: If not registered, /join <#channelname> and make sure you have an @op next to your fully registered nickname
